DISSOLVING AND DISAPPEARING

Today we read a story about salt dissolving in water and disappearing so we did an experiment to watch what happens when you put salt in water . You and I could do this at home and I can tell you about it.

GEOMETRY

We are learning all about shapes.  We know how to describe shapes by counting their sides and angles.  Our favourite game is guess the shape.  We have to ask three questions before we can guess the shape.  It's very challenging, so that means we're learning.  

Sandi has got us cutting out lots of shapes.  We wonder what we will be doing when we have finished cutting.  Sandi says we are very good at cutting - we are the very best that she has seen.
